II. Full-Process Refined Production Process of Kaixin Alloy
We uphold the manufacturing philosophy of "high purity, precise composition, uniform structure, smooth surface". Our core process forms a complete closed loop covering smelting, hot working, cold drawing, finishing and packaging.
Raw Materials and Smelting (Source of Quality)
- Strict raw material selection: High-purity electrolytic nickel plates and premium alloy additives are adopted, with strict control over harmful elements such as S and P, to guarantee material purity from the very source.
- Advanced smelting technology: For different grades and specifications, we apply VOD ladle refining or the duplex process of Vacuum Induction Melting (VIM) + Electroslag Remelting (ESR), which effectively controls gas content and inclusions, and ensures uniform and accurate alloy composition. The ingot density of high-end products can reach over 99.5%.
Hot Working and Billet Preparation (Microstructure Control)
- Ingots undergo full homogenization annealing to eliminate segregation.
- Forging or hot rolling is performed under precise temperature control to produce wire rods. The initial and final forging temperatures are strictly regulated throughout the process, and surface defects are thoroughly removed, providing defect-free billets with uniform microstructure for subsequent wire drawing.
Multi-pass Cold Drawing and Heat Treatment (Precision Forming)
- After pickling and lubrication, billets go through multi-pass precision cold drawing. The deformation rate of each pass is scientifically controlled, interspersed with intermediate annealing in protective atmosphere to eliminate work hardening and restore plasticity.
- High-precision dies and on-line monitoring are applied to ensure the diameter tolerance of finished wire is stably controlled within ±0.02mm, with a smooth surface finish.
Finishing and Packaging of Finished Products (Final Guarantee)
- Finished welding wire receives brightening treatment or surface cleaning to ensure no oil stain or oxide scale.
- Solution treatment and other heat treatments are carried out per grade requirements to optimize microstructure and properties.
- After precise straightening, the wire is neatly coiled and vacuum-sealed with built-in desiccant to strictly prevent moisture, with clear and traceable identification marks.

III. Full-Process Quality Control System of Kaixin Alloy
Quality is the lifeline of Kaixin Alloy. We have established a digital quality control and traceability system running through the entire production process:
- In-process control: From rapid furnace-side spectral analysis to on-line dimension and surface inspection at each procedure, key process parameters are monitored and recorded in real time.
- 100% outgoing inspection: Each batch of products undergoes strict testing on chemical composition, mechanical properties, surface quality and process performance (welding test). For high-end products, corrosion resistance test, flaw detection reports and other documents can be provided upon customer request.
- System certification: Our management system has fully passed ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certifications, ensuring standardized, green and safe production operations.
